Danish Americana, that sounds weird, but hopefully in just the right way. Sweet Pete & The Land Band is a group of people creating music in the tradition of American country rock. The ambition is to enrich this genre with some memorable tunes and original lyrics about travelling, loneliness, lost love, and of course the land. In this case, land has a mythological resonance. At the same time, it is rooted in very specific experiences. The music is based on comprehensive travels in the American south and a love for the solitary landscape found there.
