It all started very easily. I was a little less tired of myself than usual and had a song idea where there was a little spark of magic. I wrote a text with the intention of singing myself for the first time in several years. It was insanely fun. The best thing about it all was that my voice sounded different. Steady but soft and airy. Not at all as I remembered it. A big plus in my book. It was as if a Frankenstein's monster of contrived self-confidence and need for assertion had suddenly ceased to exist.
