Nominated for an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and Golden Globe, the 18 instrumental pieces, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, draw heavily on Celtic/Scottish influences, and feature bagpipes, atmospheric flutes, and bodhran drums to create several authentic, melancholic, and emotionally stirring symphonies.
