This is Alpert's first Christmas album in 50 years. His previous one, Christmas Album, was issued in 1968. his new one is going to be called The Christmas Wish, and will be presented with Symphony and Choir. this new holiday set, with fifteen classic selections, was recorded in Hollywood at the Capitol Records Building.  With not only Herb Alpert’s legendary trumpet in he recordings, there will be a ten-piece rhythm section, a 45-piece orchestra, and a 32-member choir to complement it all.
