After creating three albums of dirty and danceable garage rock anthems, Hollywood's favorite son and Eagle of Death Metalfrontman, Jesse 'The Devil' Hughes, is unveiling his solo debut as Boots Electric. Titled, Honkey Kong, the album is being released courtesy of Dangerbird Records (Fitz and The Tantrums, Silversun Pickups, Minus the Bear). Honkey Kong was produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Depeche Mode, The Kooks) and was co-written with legendary keyboardist Money Mark, best known for his many collaborations with the Beasties Boys. http://www.boots-electric.com/
