"One Second", the band's sixth album, was originally released in 1997 on the Music For Nations label & became a big hit for the band, even entering the top 10 in the German charts upon release. The album was recorded at Battery Studios & Rockfield Studios with producer Ulf "Sank" Sandqvist, & was notable for featuring more streamlined gothic rock tracks & a large portion of electronic elements, while still retaining the trademark Paradise Lost guitar style.
