The Reservoir Dogs: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was the first soundtrack for a Quentin Tarantino film and set the structure his later soundtracks would follow. The tracklisting includes dialogue snippets from the film as well as songs from the 1960s to '80s. The only group to record original songs for the film was the 1990's group Bedlam, led by Jay Joyce. Comedian Steven Wright, who plays the role of the DJ for "K-Billy's Super Sounds of the Seventies" in the film, performs most of the dialogue found on this album
