Bellens, Jacob - The Daisy Age

Jacob Bellens – the voice from I Got You On Tape and Murder – has release his solo debut album The Daisy Age. First taste from The Daisy Age is ‘Heart of Africa’, the opening song of the album.  You can hear this, along with one more song of the forthcoming album on his Facebook site and on Jacob’s been busy with Murder and I Got You on Tape in and outside Denmark for the past eight years.  Stuart Staples (Tindersticks) declared Murder his “Favorite New Band” in Pitchfork (March ‘09): “We played some shows with Danish band Murder earlier in the year and I became a fan. Simple music and melodies, but with a real depth and a strangeness within the songs...and a great voice.”
