Suffocation's legendary Human Waste (1991) is the blueprint by which disturbingly brutal, down tuned death metal has come to follow. Shortly after the band's 1990 formation and first demo recordings, Suffocation chose the upstart Relapse Records to issue its first official release which also happened to be the label's first release as well. Unrelentingly savage, Human Waste saw Suffocation bash out the beginnings of death metal's most visible style, the "New York death metal" combination of blasting grindcore beats and metallic textures.
Available on vinyl for the first time in over ten years, the 6-song set is now augmented with exclusive demo versions of "Involuntary Slaughter" and "Reincremation" which are both appearing on vinyl for the very first time. A legend is now reborn!
