The New Investors lyd har sine rødder i 60’ernes amerikanske west coast pop. Inspirationen fra The Beach Boys, The Mamas and Papas, Love og andre af 60’ernes popikoner fornemmes tydeligt, men blandes med en typisk skandinavisk længsel, så helt fjernt fra de hjemlige melankolske himmelstrøg er vi ikke. Vi befinder snarere os i et drømmende grænseland mellem det kølige nord og den behagelige californiske stillehavskyst.
