Ginne Marker is an old soul in a young woman’s body. The compositions can be quiet, thoughtful and laid back, and also exuberant, playful and optimistic. The first single “La Vie en Glace” makes one think of Paris in 1920, while others take the listener into intimate songwriter settings such as a hazy jazz club where the story and music’s balance between simplicity and complexity are alluring and mesmerizing.
