Black Sugar - II.

Vendor: Munster Records
Collection: Soul/Funk/Brazil.
Year: 1972

• 180g Gatefold LP

Following the success of their debut, Peruvian funk rockers Black Sugar immediately cut a follow-up for their label Sono Radio. For their second and unfortunately last LP, released in 1972, the boys from Peru continued doing what they did best: cranking out funky Latin groove. This album also features more original compositions than their first, like the rockin’ “Fuego” and “Checan” as well as a few hot covers like Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t You Worry About A Thing”.
